Dear Parents & Students,
We have a very busy final quarter. There are lots of fun and educational things going on this spring.
We start with our field trip for Earth Day. We are going to the movies to see Disney's Earth movie. I am very excited to see it. Students may bring $10 for concessions the day of the field trip.
Fourth grade is going to the Book Fair this Thursday. Bring money to buy your books that day.
This Thursday is "afternoon of the arts". Parents please come by to see your child's artwork and some musical performances. Stop by my room to see our "geometrical artwork" as well.
Next week is standardized testing. Please come to school on time. We will begin testing at 8:30. Please make sure that you are well rested and have a nutritious, filling breakfast. We will have a modified schedule of classes each day after testing.
Our final test over all 50 states, capitals, spelling & location is May 19.
